Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit the THINK Academy website. I am honored to be the principal at THINK Academy! This is my first year as the principal at THINK Academy, and this is truly full-circle for me as I attended THINK (previously Rudolph Elementary) as a child. The students, staff, parents and community are who make THINK an absolutely incredible place to learn and grow. Our students at THINK are amazing and truly bring joy to school each and every day. We have an extremely dedicated and talented group of professionals and a supportive parent community.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
Prior to coming to THINK Academy, I spent 18 years as a teacher and administrator in the Fairfax County Public Schools system in northern Virginia. I taught kindergarten, second, fourth and fifth grades. After teaching in the classroom, I served as an assistant principal for three years and principal for seven years at an elementary school.
I am excited to return to the Wisconsin Rapids area to be closer to family and especially spend more time with my nieces and nephews. I have an eight-year old goldendoodle, Mia, who is enjoying Wisconsin as much as I am!
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions you may have at christine.slattery@wrps.net or 715-424-6784.
Respectfully,
Christine Slattery
Principal
