My name is Karen Medo and I have been teaching kindergarten in the Wisconsin Rapids School District for 33 years. I love the energy and enthusiasm of 5 and 6 year olds and I am honored to be a part of my students' lives during these important years of their development. I grew up in Clintonville, Wisconsin and attended Clintonville Senior High. I received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from UW - Stout and my Master's of Science in Elementary Education from UW - River Falls. I now live in Stevens Point with my husband, Bob and our daughter, Hannah. We have 2 other (grown now) children, Maggie and Sam, who live in the Madison area. I am grateful for the years I have been able to teach kindergarten in a district that I believe is always reflecting on ways that they can continually improve in order to be a safe, nurturing, and challenging place for young minds to grow.
